Form a walk team with your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers or with others who care about working against global poverty. A team is formed when one individual recruits five or more people to register and raise funds for the Walk. As a team you are eligible to have your team name printed in the program booklet distributed on the day of the Walk and in the post-Walk newsletter. Your team could also be eligible for the Team-High or Team-All awards. Here are six easy steps to being a Partnership Walk Captain: Register yourself as a team captain. To download a Team Kit, click here. Help others to register. You are responsible for getting others to join your team. Collect sponsorships. You and each of your team members can collect sponsorships through registration/sponsorship forms that allow sponsors to use cash or checks. Team Administration. Keep up-to-date on team progress! Send out encouraging emails, answer any questions, make special arrangements for Walk-day team involvement and challenge other teams such as those in their departments or competing companies to equal or best your totals! Rally your team on Walk day with team shirts, banners and signs, even team songs � get creative! Appreciate. Thank your team for participating and know that by their participation they have helped make the lives of people around the world better. Encourage their participation next year!
